Halloween I Am Poem by Munia Khan

Halloween I Am

This is the winning poem of the Jon London's The Halloween Challenge last year.

Hello! ! This is the last night of October Speaking! !

Ghoulish costumes and Jack-O -Lantern is what I’m seeking

Hobgoblins, ghosts, witches all are freaky freaking

I parade around the neighbourhood when kids are tricking

Trick or treating, bob for apples anything will do

Beg for soul-cakes when skeletons say –“BOO”!

Instead of turnips the perfect pumpkin carved

Candy Factory, Creepy Cupcakes are you all starved?

Black cats drink water breaking superstitious dam

So, Beware! Spooky grim night Halloween I am! ! ! !

Written on the night of 8th of October,2010
