Halloween Excitement Poem by Marilyn Lott

Halloween Excitement

It's time once again, my friend
For thePumpkin Festival
The air is chilly and days are short
After all it's the season of fall

Children scurrying ‘round
To find that perfect look
Scary or perhaps it will be
A princess costume she took

Boys of course love to look fierce
To scare their family and friends
What a wonderful time of year
Of all the holiday trends

It's the time of year to just pretend
It doesn't matter the age
Tiny little cuties dressed up
And some in an adult stage

It's quite a busy time of course
For folks are on the run
Trick or treat and Festivals
Ah yes, such Halloween fun!
