Half A World Poem by Kelly Vinal

Half A World

Rating: 5.0

Half a world
Away
That moon is steady
Marching on
Opposite horizons
How I know you see it too
This
Fall’s revue
Of Harvest moon

Half a word
To say
All
That can be said
I am damned and I am silent
A frosting leaf
In a gardener’s mulch
A lifeless stone
In a barren sea
Half a world’s
Too much

Too much
For me.

Mahnaz, I am drawn with you. This is so uncluttered and calm. Hope you keep safe over there. Best wishes H

A very sad, calm, sweet poem....nice. There's something that draws me to it.
