Haiyan Poem by Ima Ryma

Haiyan

The strongest storm, Haiyan typhoon
Ever recorded on the Earth,
Across the Phillipines was strewn
Destruction by its force and girth,
Making cousin Katrina small
In comparison to what if
Haiyan had had the wherewithal
To hit New Orleans hard and stiff.
Global climate changers predict
The Haiyan storm ferocity
Will only grow in harm inflict.
Haiyan be small relatively.

Nature chooses the time and place
To remindset the human race.
