Haiku Hope Beams

Hope beams bright by night
as firefly swarm storm's rapture
captures inner Way

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Although unvariably adhering to the classical seven five seven syllable form, almost all this author's haiku and senryu disregard accepted tenets by rhyming the first and last lines.

As a general rule, the number in the title refers to the chronological order of the first version unless the poem was omitted from the original list and rediscovered. Revised versions retain the initial number.
