Haiku 4 Poem by GOBINDA SAHOO

Haiku 4

Rating: 3.0

22 (Wife)
The forename of wait
Ever ready to succumb
A way to create.

23(husband)
Name of promises
Rarely materialized
Trance for love as God.

24 (Father)
A roof tough, shield bold
Epithet of love and fear
With vows to nosh n’ rear.

25(Mother)
Foremost of mentors
Making wrong right and pain bliss
Contentment in pangs.

26(pupils)
Leisurely pastime
Frisking and ingesting live
With teeming school-bags.

(28) Couple
Beloved on lover’s lap,
Silver moon through thatched roof,
Look for ceaseless night.

(29) Dream
A diamond on leaf
Taking sunbeams blinds eyes-
Array of fresh hopes.
