Vicious clouds gather
A dark funnel spirals down
Thunder roars death kneel.

Thank you Krishna for your comment. If you want to read a more comprehensive poem about Tornado please read my poem ‘ Siren Went Off’. Oklahoma is known for Tornado and its destruction. I have tried to capture many emotions in that poem.

A tornado destroyed two houses on the far side of a farm field, then it lifted itself over the field and swirled OVER MY APARTMENT BUILDING. My life and possessions were spared, others not so lucky. Your line says it all: LIFE TURNS UPSIDE DOWN.

Thank you so much Kelly. Yes tornados are a thrilling sight but only from a distance.
