Had Him Poem by Kelsea Osterman

Alone in the world I think I am.
Here with no one by my side.
Wishing to have him in my arms.
Wishing he could be there for me.
Wishing I had him to keep me from falling.
Wishing I had him to hold, so I can keep my tears away.
He would help me fight off the tears I have,
And he would also keep them from ever falling again.
If he was mine my world would no longer be in darkness.
I would smile a smile that no one has ever seen.
My eyes would shine brighter than the sun,
If only I had him.
All these things would change if only I had him.
Life would be different even worth living.
But here I am still crying, and falling so fast
I do not know if it will ever stop.
And me still alone in the empty darkness I live in.
And most of all I am here
