Gynecology for Beginners

Love that does not sell at market-rates lovers must not promulgate

as it's the swelling and the burning that tends to brutally strangulate

forcing N.W.O. Ukrainian tanks and armored vehicles to capitulate

to fifth-column sedition posing no threat to those who resuscitate

French revolving pacts that empower admiralty courts to instigate

Nazism and not to enumerate inalienable rights nor to amalgamate

self-sovereignty & private land via laws that would not enunciate

Draconian punishment for true patriots in murky jargon to initiate

torture chambers for valorous men deceptively written to castigate

Poet's Notes about The Poem

Reforming the police is no different than reforming the mafia. He's sour, he's spicy, he enjoys the romantic company of octoroons, he's Eastern, he's Humus Jefferson! [How a gynecologist should not dedicate his book on gynecology: “To all the women who have made my life pleasurable and worthwhile. Especially Sarah, who opened my eyes.” — dedication by gynecologist Stanley West in 'The Hysterectomy Hoax' (1994) ]

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
