Guru Purnima Poem by Hardik Vaidya

Guru Purnima

Full moon night
Glittering in the wisdom of sun
Silver glow of brilliance
The Guru's sold his show.

Gadget Guru
Carnal one?
Mind washing Guru?
Brain Numbing one?
Caste predator Guru?
Or is he Carnivorous?
Some smiling,
Few winking,
Peddling knowledge at dark nooks and corners
The heroin of ages
Long ques of addicts
Zombies left of humans
With bated breaths
Waiting for Darshan

Notes

Darshan - The Hindu expression which in its bankrupt sense encapsulates an opportunity to get a peek of an idol, in its true sense a desire and an action combined to see owns own reflection of th supreme.
