All glory to God on high, in spineless deference to new time tables

Gone for the weekend bedraggled in skillfully-skinned lime sables

whilst mulling in the muddiest offal of the awfullest slime stables

Back off policy-loving police with your swinish, piggy crime labels

shivering beneath super structures quoting unrepentant dime fables

Mimic me with varying static disregard for gay bridal mime tables

Into a night life stewing monkeys on altars—Spillane rhyme cables

George Gobel, Clark Gable, Gunnar Hellström & his prime gables

Poet's Notes about The Poem

When do concerns that are transnational, multinational & international oppose those that are global & planetary? When things are AWFUL: when they're worse than free consultations; when they're worse than 'we get paid when you win'; when they're crappier than English cooking; when they become sillier than paying for women or as contra-clockwise as preying on women. Maya F. Angelou: this ho is whacked!

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
