Guilt Poem by Reed Dietiker

Guilt

Trapt under the pressure
It builds up and become harder to hide
Its the feeling and proof that you lied
Dont ignore, you'll only feel worse than before

Admit the truth, let go of your Guilt
Break dwon the wall of lies and secrets youve built
Its your in-mind shadow, everywhere you look

You shy away and change the subject
Looking for the chance to tell, but nothing yet
You secrets stay with me, and nobody else
If Im the only one you ever tell...
