Guesting (Five Lü) Poem by Luo Zhihai

Guesting (Five Lü)

★ Guesting (Five Lü)

☆ Poetry by Yu Wuling (? -? , Tang Dynasty, China)
☆ Translation by Luo Zhihai (1954-, China)

Chu people sang the bamboo branch song
Wanderer’s tears on the clothes
Guesting in the foreign land for long
Often dreamt of return at the cold night
A letter didn’t be written in reply
But all the leaves flew away from the thousand trees
Would cross the Dongting water south
Less messages should be received

楚人歌竹枝
