Guess We Lied

By: Taylor Donnelly

I told you secrets

I told you about dreams and days,

I told you about wants and desires

I told you things i shouldn't have

I told you them

You told me... lies

You told me about her... too late

You told me sweet nothings

You told me nothing that isn't shattered now

You told me nothing

I told them about it

I told them about her

I told them what they said they already knew they would hear

I told them it was my fault

I told them i was at fault

They told me it would take time

They told me it better than you

They told me i was too good

They told me it wasn't my fault

But who told who

But who is lying

But who is telling the truth

But who is right

We told each other we wouldn't hurt each other

Guess we lied
