Guardian Angel Poem by Daniel Bernard Kelleher

Guardian Angel

Rating: 3.5

A visit from a stranger
He seemed to know me well
I have a message concerning you
May I come in and I will tell

We sat down by the fireside
When he began to speak
And for some unknown reason
I felt quite upbeat

I am your guardian angel
Come to take you by the hand
Your going to meet our saviour
Leave behind this land

You've grown tired and weary
The love of God you always bore
Now is the time for you to sleep
Your pain will be no more
Jesus Christ has called you
To hold forever in his keep
