(growing Pains) Nativity Poem by Janice Windle

(growing Pains) Nativity

Rating: 2.8

Stare into the space
inside my head. Your face swims
cradled in gloved hands.

My life overwhelmed, I find
oblivion, a new born mother.

The genesis of a new life in terms of nativity is a peculiar feature of this short poem. The feeling of stupor is natural in such circumastances when one thinks beyond oneself. Best Wishes Naseer
