Growing Old Together Poem by Carrol Hoffman

Growing Old Together

Rating: 5.0

the day we first met
i didnt think you liked me
i was so unsure of myself
the day i fianly asked you out
you said you had been waiting for me to ask you
a year later we were standing at the altar
we both said i do
9 months later we're in a delivary room
it's a girl
i got to cut the cord
now we have 4 kids
2 boys
2 girls
they're 24,28,32,34
they're all happy
we're so happy
we're retired
we're so glad we're going to be together till we die
we're growing old together
