Growing Intellectually Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Growing Intellectually

Feeling alive and vibrant, sensing desires rising inside,
looking around, wanting to be touched and fulfilled at
the same time.

Catching my breath, feeling excitement growing excessively
within, enjoying how it feels, growing towards an intellectual
high.

Beautiful sensations blossoming, nurturing and building a
passion for life through poetry.

Lighting the spark of imagination, blowing it gently, watching
it rise exponentially into the afternoon sky as I write.

Wow! This poem is not just the pursuit of happiness, it's the EXPERIENCE OF ECSTASY. I can't think of a better word to describe the cumulative effect of the stanzas as they crescendo to the closing celebration of creativity. And you put this emotional overflow in the context of the mind as a whole, that is, the intellect plays its role in promoting ecstasy. You're both feeling and thinking your way to - joy. This process should really perk the scientists!
