Grover Cleveland, the President,
Oscar Folsom from Buffalo,
As law partners and friends, they spent
Shared pastimes in wild oats to sow.
Oscar Folsom Cleveland was born
Illegitimate. Grover did,
As bachelor, feel duty sworn,
To provide support for the kid.
Though buddy, Oscar, just as well
As Grover could have been the dad.
But Oscar was married, do tell,
And a daughter, Frances, he had.

Once in the White House, Grover wed
That same Frances, ain't that incred!
