Grief Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Grief

GRIEF

Grief, pain too severe
Stifles many tears
Inside, a man breaks
His whole being shakes
With inner turmoil
Shredding his soul
He dies a thousand deaths
His sorrow numbs, and yet
He breathes
He lives
He must.

'Have courage for the great sorrows of life
and patience for the small ones.' (Victor Hugo)
