Grief Poem by sekharan pookkat

Grief

Rating: 5.0

May flowers bedded on sand
Summer sailed in deserted land
Rain dropped over skies
My grief buried in dreams.

Game of promises comes and goes
But I stand still to observe
The notion behind the curtain
How better strolled and anchored.

Game of promises comes and goes But I stand still to observe... .we may find reason behind our grief and may overcome it. Wise sharing. Thanks.

Hi Sekharan, May flowers, summer sailing in the desert, rain dropping over skies....... the imagery creates a fantastic melancholy mood for the last line bringing out the silent grief buried in dreams. The lines But I stand still to observe / the notion behind the curtain takes the expression forward in rapt silence, but stops short of crying out loud. Beautiful poem. Congrats and a full ten.
