Greying Hair Poem by Claude H Oliver II

Greying Hair

Greying hair
Cloudy vision, shadowy sight
Unsteady knees, reservoir of flatulence
Joints that predict pain, faulty memory
Loss of friends and family
These be ravages of living
Signs of life's wear and tear
Yet though truthful this may be
There's another truth to see
Fond memories of family and friends
Sunrise, sunset
Cool water, a warm bath
Gratitude for small things.
