Greed Poem by Raquel Angel Nagler

Greed

My pink piglets:
Little cannibals of dream,
Gulp the peels and the pearls
Of my inner hunger.

I wonder if the coins,
Weeping in the mouth of my hungers,
Are the tears of the body or of the mind.
