Greather Love Poem by Kojo Silas

It happen on the cross of Calvary over 2000 years ago.
When Jesus Christ came to die to save you and I our soul.
He laid down His life to pay a debt He did not owe.
He suffered in the hands of the rulers and His foes.


The crown of thorns was put on His head for your sake.
Mockery made of Him saying "Hail the king of the Jews."
They casted insult on but did not retaliate. He made no threat when He was beaten.
He healed the sick.
Casted out demons.
Feed over 5000 multitude.
Yet still man did not honor Him.

He was nailed to a wooden cross.
In the middle of two criminals.
Just an answer to a question led a slap on His face.
He was flogged with lead tip whip for us to be forgiven of our iniquities.
Sour wine given to Him when He requested for water.
Indeed Jesus suffered a lot on our behave.


See, Jesus went through all this for us to be free.
But it seem we have not made up our mind to agree.
He is still waiting for us to change our mind to declear and decree that we are sinners.
To say Lord am sorry.
That this day I surrender all.
I take you as my Lord and all in all.
Be not afraid.
Be not ashamed.
Take the bold step
And save your soul for eternity………..
