Great Poems Don'T Rhyme Poem by Jared Gobey

Great Poems Don'T Rhyme

Rating: 4.5

Fed up with finding rhymes
To define my difficult times
Fed up with thinking of feeling
My true feelings are revealing
There shouldn't be a poem police
Where each one should be a masterpiece
There shouldn't be a poem brigade
The true feelings are not conveyed!
And lastly, there shouldn't be men in poem green
Lean, mean poem machine
You should write as you feel
Those mistakes you conceal
Great poems don't even rhyme
It's the words that count

Who says they're great? Old doesn't mean great. Traditions are meant to be broken, to evolve.
