Great Expectations Poem by Richard Noggin

Great Expectations

Rating: 2.5

Perhaps my expectations were too great
Or my ideas to high
But the taste of your lips so warm and soft
Fill my body with delightful passions

I can feel myself come alive
Giving into my animal instincts
The smell of your hair and
The tenderness of your breast
Make me glad that I am a man

The arch of your spin
And the sweat on your brow
Lets me know that you need me
Even if your love does not

For at just a small glorious moment I know
That I hold more than I could ever dream
When I hold you in my arms
