Gravity Poem by Eugene Carlo Salonga

Gravity

I feel the universe has betrayed me.
Everyday when you are not beside me.
But that is not just my concern at all.
The more I see you, the more I fall.

I tried to avoid my growing feeling.
But it seems my heart you keep on stealing.
It's not your fault though, you shouldn't be blamed.
The beating of my heart cannot be tamed.

Isaac Newton had once a theory.
Based on an apple falling from a tree.
Gravity pulls all things to the ground. But why do I fall more when you're around.

Science? No it is unexplainable.
Truth is you are just that lovable.
There is no need for probability.
I fall because you are my gravity.
