Gratitude Poem by Chris Bradshaw

Gratitude

Your voice is the best music
I've ever heard
I could listen for hours
And not hear a word

Your eyes are like streams
Flowing back to their source
They show me how far
I've strayed from my course

Your face is the sky
Open and free
It tells me a story
Of what was and could be

Your mind is a desert
I'd wander for years
Content to survive
On your smiles and tears

Your body is the soil
That keeps me alive
Blessed and beloved
Within you I lie

Hmmmm. Are you sure THAT's gratitude? ? ? Painful one. Or blissful. Ah, the poet's mind and body can endure SUCH pain! Cheers. Subroto

And not hear a word, yet it is tho' every word was just heard without any ears or sign of a face throughout all the heavens and internet space.

Nice structure and rhythm, with a good idea behind it!
