Grandmother’s Last Words Poem by Davina Vanessa Rivas

Grandmother’s Last Words

Rating: 5.0

Love my darling little girl
Like you’ve never been hurt
Open your heart once again
From the last heart ache you had
Though your heart was torn apart
Maybe the next time man you’ll
Meet will be different
And he’ll treat you with respect
That I know you deserve
And he’ll protect you
From all the danger in the world
So wipe away all your tears
And start to smile like you did
Back before a man ever broke you heart
Remember I will always love you
And be with you forever
