Grammar Of Eros Poem by Michael Pruchnicki

Grammar Of Eros

Rating: 2.3

Consider the rules and etiquette
of love, Lothario and Lady of Shalott,
before you stick your head
in the kitchen oven!

Knights and their ladies,
serfs and their sluts -
they're all in the same kettle
stewing in their juices!

A brief roll in the hay,
and they're all in disarray!
Lads and lasses alike
hoist on their own pike!

Etiquette is old hat
stuff for other times
get it now while you can
Lothario & Lady of Shalott!
