Graduating Senior Poem by Jasmine Thompson

Graduating Senior

If the world could see me shed a tear,
For all the memories I have shared,
Would they cry too?

If the world could see me smile,
Looking back on my past,
Would they smile too?

If the world could hear me laugh,
Even when I'm sad,
Would they see into my blues?

If the world could see me question,
Every aspect of my life,
Would they wonder?

If the world could watch me give a cheer,
Just because this end is near,
Would they sing along?

Fore I know this is the end to a long journey,
One that was rough and difficult,
But it is also the beginning of a new.

Because you gave me the power to go forth,
Prosper and love,
And I know what it is worth.

If the world could see me today,
Walking across this stage,
What would they say?
