Government: We Deserve

Instead of making and buying our own
it made more sense to import.
We bought so much that we eventually thought
we ought and could afford to take a cut.

But we couldn't cut as much as we thought:

all that cheap stuff cost a lot to run
and utilities had done us in sync.;
like how we had already been done
by companies selling printers cheaper than ink.
