let me sing you a lullaby
as we watch the starry sky
on this breezy spring night.

taste the sweetness of this peach
as I continue my harvest
on this fine summer day.

let me hear the reason why
you have that gloom in your eyes
as the autumn colors fade
in sunset.

let me kiss you gently
as I hear you say goodnight
on this cold winter night.
