It's goodbye, not goodnight
And for the first time in my life
It's true
It's not see ya; it's I'm gonna leave ya
Cuz I don't need ya
And I'm sure that tonight
Is the night
To say, it's goodbye, not goodnight

I don't know where I'm going from here
Seems like everyone's just trying to tell me
What I wanna hear
But even if I'm lost
I know I'll find my way back
And so I'll repeat what I said
