Good Ol' Fashioned Cry Poem by Lana Grissom

Good Ol' Fashioned Cry

Rating: 5.0

Trying to be strong gets old at times
What I need is a Good Ol' Fashioned cry.

A cry for the little girl
A cry for the little girl lost
A cry for the woman she so try's to be
Never showing emotion...that just doesn't make sense to me.

I've been through enough pain
Some of which none could withstand
That does give me some type of solace...when I see
Through these shiny brown bright wide eyes
But what I really need is a,
Good ol' fashioned, gut wrenching, soul stirring, CRY.

This is indeed a beautiful poem, a cry is what we all need for what has been left or lost behind.
