At least we speak of nationalism
Talk loudly about poor and humanism
Atrocity of women draws momentary concern
Who know when will we face same ugly turn?

Politicians talk of harmony
Peace and stability in country
Preach about nonviolence
And repeat the same whenever get chance

We have less regards for politicians
Some respect for writer and musicians
Newspaper people resort to bias reports
Political rivalry has different morality concert

What do influential people think today?
Do some charity all the way
Keep name in forefront
Have good relation on political front

Poor is watching helplessly
Someone promises food and house very lately
When elections are round the corner!
They try to influence them with good offers

People watch too and are aware
They weigh pro and con to look fair
Ultimate result shows unexpected turn
Many politicians are facilitated to return
