Good Karma Will Reward You Poem by Francis Duggan

Good Karma Will Reward You

Rating: 5.0

If you can help somebody out without asking for pay
Just pushing their car that wouldn't start out of the traffic's way
And not make a big deal out of it when thanks to you they say
You are building up good karma that you well may need one day.

If you do not like that other person who has done some wrong to you
Leave him to reap his karma if bad karma he is due
And what goes around always comes around so happens to be true
And what we do unto others unto our own selves we do.

The distribution of wealth in this World as ever seems
unfair
And thousands must grow poorer just to make one millionaire
But if there is a life hereafter then it very well may be
That the ticket to eternal happiness is an earthly life of poverty.

The billionaires and millionaires are those who wield the power
But time ticks by so quickly and we age with every hour
And their money they cannot take with them behind them their wealth they leave
And the poor have a better chance of heaven we are led to believe.

If to help other people you go out of your way
And do not make a big deal of it nor do not ask for pay
Of a future of good karma you are planting the seed
And good karma will reward you in your moment of need.
