Good Bye For Now Poem by Twisted Moon

The hardest poem for me to write,
The elusive words, just out of sight,
So I'm stuck here feeling dumb as hell,
Wondering just how to bid you all farewell.

All these years that have passed,
They all went by so very fast,
Now heading out to a world so vast,
It seems we've reached a turning point at last.

Now it's time to say our last words,
Before scattering away like frightened birds,
But now I just can't find the words to utter,
Everytime I open my mouth, I just stutter.

But with so little time before we part,
My farewell, I lament I must start,
So I forfit my efforts to sound smart,
What I say from now on, will come from the heart.

So this is it, my valediction,
Boundless emotion, without restriction,
Our time together, I promise will never be forgotten,
They will last forever, like an apple that can Never go rotten.

But maybe this is not the end,
Maybe our paths will entwine again,
But for now, we have our destinies to attend to,
So Good Bye For Now, I Love You.
