i had an image in my mind
an image that you partially filled
so i tried to change the image to be you
but
i was changing myself in the bargain
the i within me revolted
it does not want to change
it searches for the face
to fit the image
not fragments of it but the whole

the self will not be whole till then either
it cannot mutilate itself to be with you

you too have an image in your mind
don't ever give up on it
for that is you
and when you find it
you will find yourself
