Next to you
Is where I lay
For loving you
A price I pay

I held you close
And never knew
What you said
Wouldn't be true

An empty promise
Brought true bliss
But then I received
A tainted kiss

Broken hearted
Lost and alone
Now without you
I'm going home

You are no longer
The man I adore
So goodbye it is
Forever more

A whole new life
I'm going to start
Deep down I know
It's time to part

No more tears
Will ever be shed
For all this pain
Will soon be dead

I'm on my way
To regain my losses
As I slowly pick up
These broken pieces
