Abdul Wahab

>>>Good and bad are illusions

I take a hammer and use it excessively
On a plate of reality, the plate gets fragmented
The fragmentation is an illusion
And i am trapped in it
As the universe is an indivisible whole
Everything is interconnected
Nothing exists separately including good and bad
And the hammer is nothing but my thought
The agent which defines the movement
Of thought and meaning,
And takes things and situations in isolation
Actually though they are not.

Wow! What a wonderful metaphoric gem this excellently crafted write is, dear Abdul. You have captured exquisitely, the philosophy that life is like a web and everything and everyone on it is connected. If one part of the web gets damaged, it affects the whole web and everything/everyone on it! I like how you have expressed your thoughts and feelings very much. Yes, we are all part of the whole! A very insightful, thought provoking write. I love that the poem is to the point, no beating around the bush. I like the title of the poem and it is so true. Nothing is either good or bad, it is how we view it that makes it either. Thank you for sharing, Abdul. I so enjoyed reading. Blessings always... (Report) Reply
