Gone Forever Poem by Rey Benipayo

Gone Forever

Gone was the day
Where we live
A peaceful life
Full memories
Though we are problematic
For we live in poverty
It doesn't matter at all
We play imaging
The world we know
The world we think it is
We want time
To walk too fast
For we are too excited
To grow old, to be an adult
But as days come by
Little by little,
Life's beginning to be serious
People come then they go
The world around us
Is slowly changing
Even us must, our body
Then we will woke up
We realize everything,
Gone is the days of our childhood!
