Gone Astray Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Gone Astray

Illegal lust,
Hiding your face from the truth;
And now, you are afflicted in your sorrows.

Bruised! !
Wounded;
With the lack of the truth,
Living in the land of destruction.

Sins,
Our sins!
Gone astray;
In the land of the living.

Iniquities,
Oppressed;
Afflicted with the very works of your hands!
As you failed to accept in the truth.
