Gone Poem by Mikayla Haberbosch

Gone

No matter what she does,
She can’t hide it anymore.

Her eyes,
Once full of life,
Now forever,
Dead and dull.

Her smile,
Once so often seen,
Now gone,
Never to return.

Her heart,
Once so often seen,
Now gone,
Never to return.

Her heart,
Once full of compassion,
Now dies,
Cold as stone.

My life,
Once beautiful and vibrant,
Now empty,
Without purpose.
