Gone Poem by angela coon

Gone

Everything that i once had is gone.
my mothers gone,
Gone into her own little world.
My fathers gone,
Gone to work 24/7,
My best friends Gone,
Gone not by choice but because of opposing parents.
My sister Gone,
Gone to New York leaving me with these disfunctional people.
My brother John hes gone to.
Gone into the Air Force.
My brother Mike-Gone,
Gone with his friends to do drugs.
My brother Tommy hes always been there,
Now he's gone to.
So if everyone closest to me is gone,
where am i to go?
i've lost everything i've ever loved.
All gone in a matter of moments.
But if the day ever comes when they come back,
Who's to say if ill still be waiting?

No one says that you have wait but you shouldn't look at it as them being gone but as opportunities... they couldn't really be gone, can they? As long as you can still talk to them in some way them could they really be gone?
