Golden Autumn Poem by Diana Rosser

Golden Autumn

Golden autumn sparkles starlight
stained glass fractures of sunlight
gleaming, glinting through fated leaves
turning in the billowing breeze
into flickering flames of light,

that burn against a breathless sight;
a sky of deep purple delight
across which, soft shimmering, weaves
golden autumn

into an arc of colour bright
that sweeps all hues from left to right
above glistening green blade seas
dancing beneath the flaming trees
spinning the spark that does ignite
golden autumn.
