Going Home Poem by Tony Adah

Going Home

If I have gone to the farm
And my harvest is poor
If I have gone to fish
And I brought some crabs
If I have gone to school
And I'm not recognized
By any piece of paper
If I have married
Without the blessing of marriage
If life puts me but at its periphery
I will go home
Take a rest and watch
The second coming.
