Going Home Poem by Robert Roberts

Going Home

Rating: 5.0

Slipping away in a pool
of my own blood staring at the heavens
as i slipping aways welcome
me with open arms brother
as were together once again
hold me close grand ma
your baby boy home
and tell dad am sorry
but couldn't move on
never meant to bring
tears to your eyes mom
but getting to know life has
proven to be more of a
challenge then i can handle
seeing you again is all
i ever wanted to do bro
cry no baby sis am
here and together forever
as i leave
