Going Green, What About The Other Colors Poem by krissi b'williams

BACK IN THE OL'DAYS...AS WE POLLUTED THE AIR
WITH CARBON MONOXIDE, GAS, AND AERSOL SPRAY
NO 1 GAVE A DAMN, NO1 CARED, but now the earth
and the animals, people, and land, more then ever need a hand
every1 of us supposedly cares, we removed trees just to move in dirt
destroying the habitats of those trees like we owned the earth
like we are the 1s who made it and gave birth,
just to lat home not needed, when theres are millions of homeless
who have never succeeded, in getting back the home
so there on the streets, they roam...
and we say they are to blame
until this recession, began taking away, everything in our name
they fought the war, and we worked hard
and now we both live in each others shoes, feeling blue
helpless and alone, no where to call home
but god gave us the earth to live upon, but now the earth is totally gone

to lay home not needed, trees became dust and dirt
not caring who or what we hurt, we were, just being humans
being greedy, and succeeding...........we let off test bombs
in the desert known as area 41..never a single concern, not across the mind of no1.....letting sewer lines break beneath the sea
killing the fish, dolphins n whales, and the coral reef
killing animals just 3 sport, just 4 fun, now on the brink.... of extinction
what did they think? when they shot helpless animals without hesitation, nor reservation...now that we are done, for the once 100s animals, just 4 sport, just 4 fun once being around, can barely be found
a couple a few, some just down to 1......we destroyed mother earth
and we have the audacity to ask why..after all we done
hurricanes and tornadoes, come 4m nowhere 4m the sky
tidal waves and tsunamis, wipe out entire...islands of land
its the sign that mothers natures' tired..what we destroyed by hand

i know all the ads, bout going green, the colors of the forest, trees and leaves..but what about the color blue, and the
the things mother nature created and made, like the seas
oceans, the color of the sky...which can turn black as spade
the color of the night...that brings us stars and moons so bright
and with the telescope you can, see the other planets in orbits
and science is looking 4 away...when comes the day
earth becomes a planet we have to forfeit, bcuz is there trully any repair that can be done to it
between the icebergs moving, and the glaziers moving away
the heat variable that gets hotter each day
i once heard, some 1 to say...how are we to blame
everything thats happening now, is the same...that kiled off the dinosaurs,65 miliions of years ago, that was so stupid, dont they know

they roaed the earth 4 eons of time and yeah mother nature did desroy that time line..but it wasnt there fault at all, it was mother natures call
but this destruction we did it all, no profit cutting dowm forests,4 construction
3 homes we dont need, we are in a recession
and soon it will be an all out depression
hopefully we profit, so with going green im all 4 it
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE OTHER COLORS TOO?
the extinction of animals, by mans hand
whether it be hurting em, killing em, hunting em, or taken theyre land
and what about the COLORS OF ALL PEOPLE TOO..? ? ? ?
we are on the verge, of losing earth, n me n you, all the animals nature, n me n you.....that the color of the truth...........
