Goddess Of England Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Goddess Of England

Rating: 5.0

So Jupiter cries like a scorpion
Loneliness stings the morning dew
Rocks as old as moonlight
I carry the ancient pyramids
Torn curtains where collusion dies
Even the ghosts separate
You have joined the other side
Shadows collide like day and night

Aster, chrysanthemums, daffodil
You have turned into the meadows
Zephyrs of the summers North Sea
Welch villages with candles in cottages
Wild flower angels sing like snapdragons
I kneel with Yorkshire roses
Come back to the arms of destiny
English bluebells like stars of love

I'm in love with a Goddess of England
